Why other pages quote prices
The four pages that rank highest for this question say four different things. One quotes thirty lira, one gives a discounted student rate, one writes of a "small fee" without a number. None of them names a source.
The likeliest explanation is that those pages were written years ago and never touched again. Site fees change periodically, and a tariff being dropped does not work its way into an old text.
Where to get a binding answer
- The ministry's DÖSİM list is the only official source for the current tariff. Paid sites are listed there individually.
- Phoning the museum directorate is the surest route, especially at the start and end of the season when practice can change.
- Prices on ticket portals are event tickets, not site admission.
How we handle this
We do not invent figures. What we have is the entry in the official list, and we pass it on with its origin. If the tariff changes this page is updated and the check date at the top changes with it.
The rest of the planning is the opening hours and how to get there. The walk is short but steep.
